SICSA Summer Camps provide educational animal themed fun, and volunteer opportunities for ages 5-17.
Who are SICSA Summer Camps for? Kids that want to learn how to care for a pet, animal lovers & advocates, tweens and teens that want to explore animal related careers, young people that want to start helping animals in their community today.
Camp Kindness - Our new 1/2 day camp for ages 5-7 teaches kindness, empathy and respect by engaging children's natural curiosity about animals through games, crafts, snacks and animal interactions.
Pet Pals - Ages 7-11 learn how to make a difference for pets in their home and community with new activities, animal interactions and discoveries each day.
Animal Advocates - Ages 8-12 explore animal careers, use their creativity to help SICSA's adoptable pets, and practice empathy. We turn curiosity into advocacy!
Paw It Forward - Ages 13-17 explore animal careers, learn safe animal handling, positive reinforcement training techniques, and provide daily hands on care for our pets. Campers can continue volunteering after camp as part of our VolunTeen program.
Animal Antics - Ages 7-11 learn empathy, respect and responsibility through daily animal themed messy, silly, exciting hands-on activities and animal interactions.
Critter Camp - Ages 11-13 explore the needs of animals indoors and out, and how the choices they make can make an impact on the world around them.
Feline Friends - Ages 7-11 will learn, make, and take actions to improve the lives of shelter cats (and dogs).
Dog Days - Ages 11-13 will learn, make, and take actions to improve the lives of shelter dogs (and cats).
