Join us for a discussion about culture and race in today's society. The focus of Part III is "Engaging to Interrupt or Dismantle Oppression: Continuing Our Conversation."
The Library is partnering with the Weavers, a regional social action group, and this is the second of a three-part series. It is not necessary to attend all three sessions, but it is beneficial to consider some historical, sociological, and personal perspectives that the series offers. All three sessions include table discussions with trained facilitators. In Part III we will practice civil discourse, related to personal experiences about racism and cultural privilege.
The program is free, but registration is required to ensure adequate seating and small group accessibility.
