Culture & Race: What Divides and Unites Us? Part II
Price: Free
Phone: 9376104429
Join us for a discussion about culture and race in today's society. The focus of Part II is "Is White Privilege Real? A Person-to-Person Conversation on Race."
The Library is partnering with the Weavers, a regional social action group, and this is the second of a three-part series. It is not necessary to attend all three sessions, but it is beneficial to consider some historical, sociological, and personal perspectives that the series offers. All three sessions include table discussions with trained facilitators. During Parts I and II table discussions are based on viewing the documentary "White Like Me" by Tim Wise.
The program is free, but registration is required to ensure adequate seating and small group accessibility.
