Chamber Music in Yellow Springs will present the "stellar" piano-cello-clarinet Goldstein-Peled-Fiterstein Trio. Known for their marvelous sense of ensemble and love of chamber music, the trio has delighted audiences in Israel, Europe and the U.S. The program includes Beethoven's Piano Trio in AB-flat Major, Op. 11; "Hassidic Fantasy" by Joachim Stutschewsky; and Brahms's Trio in A Minor, Op. 114. After the trio's St. Paul performance, the Pioneer Press reviewer wrote: "The energy and passion of all three musicians skyrocketed on the Brahms." Richard York, Principal Clarinetist with the Springfield Symphony and Music Instructor at Wittenberg University, will give a pre-concert lecture starting at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are available at www.cmys.org, by phoning 937-374-8800, or at the door. Tickets are $25; students and persons 25 or under are admitted free. CMYS is grateful for support from the Ohio Arts Council, the Yellow Springs Community Foundation, and its many individual donors.
